Profile
Don's surveying career started in Upper Hutt as a trainee survey technician in 1974. He completed NZCLS in 1978 and worked for a variety of survey practices conducting cadastral, topographical and engineering surveys throughout the Wellington region.
In the late eighties he was self-employed and contracted to a private firm and the Central Institute of Technology as a tutor/lecturer for the NZCLS and NZCE surveying papers.
From 1991-1993 Don completed his BSurv at the University of Otago and registered as a surveyor in early 1995. All his postgraduate experience has been with a private practice in Dunedin where he was responsible for the unit title development of a major retirement village and other major construction projects including the Carisbrook (House of Pain) terrace redevelopment.
