Peter commenced with the School of Surveying in 1992 as manager of the microcomputer laboratory. He was previously employed with the Department of Survey and Land Information (DOSLI) as both a survey technician and in the geodetic survey branch. During the period of his employment with DOSLI he also worked for three years in Western Samoa. Peter holds a NZCLS and a BSc from Otago University.
Peter has returned to the School after an absence of 18 months in Queensland Australia and is now employed at the School in a Survey software support role. During his time in Australia he compiled a Survey technician training course for a large survey company, and trained survey technicians in the companys offices throughout Queensland.
